Home sweet home

I first met this little lady's mother two years ago. It was then that she told me her hopes to adopt – to add to her family, give her boys a little sister and a child a better life. This past weekend I met Gracie. Although she's been in Canada only four short months, she is very much at home here.






And it's not hard to see that her brothers ADORE her! She has two great role models in these boys.

Bring on the sunshine...

Take one hot summer day, add eight adults, four kids (all girls), 2 dogs and you have one busy shoot! Family time, princess time, sprinkler time... and my camera and I got to sit back and watch it all unfold.

This little girl and I spent quite a while together working on these poses. She was so cooperative, so sweet, I just had to keep telling myself... no more children, I'm happy with two. no more children, I'm happy with two.












Thank you mom and dad for trusting me with your little lady and letting me do my stuff. She's beautiful!
