On the other side...

This was a first for me - photographing another photographer.

When a local photographer (check her out here - she's great) asked me to do a family shoot, I jumped at the chance. And what a gorgeous (growing) family. Not only were they up for anything, they were so much fun!

This is a fairly long post but believe me, I had a hard time choosing just seven to show...





Pregnant moms aren't the only ones who need a treat.



And this momma isn't just creative behind the camera, she also designed her own t-shirt...

Amazing what can happen in six short weeks...

This was back in March. And now...



This sweet baby girl was just 8 days old and did not want to miss a minute of her first photo shoot.





After hours of fighting it, she finally gave in.







And I always find it amazing how a sibling seems instantly older after the birth of a new baby. This little guy is going to be an amazing big brother. She's a lucky little girl.

I am LOVING the SUNSHINE these days.

A few notes...

Another holiday over : (

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter. We certainly did - an easter egg hunt, a sunday feast and way too many treats. It's back to reality now (with enough chocolate to help us get through the next month or so : )

Just a couple of notes...
Spring/summer is booking up. If you're thinking about a shoot, let me know asap so I can book you in. Weekends are always the first to fill so thought I'd take a bit of the pressure of those days and offer $20 off the session fee for Monday or Wednesday sessions. I'll also be revising my pricelist for products (coffee table books in particular) in the next couple of weeks - so if you want to take advantage of current prices, book now. All prices are locked in at the time of booking.

And I'm still working on getting the photographer templates up - if interested, check back next week and I'll have them ready.

Something different...

I had a bit of a break from shooting kids and families the other day and got to do something a bit more commercial - some interior and head shots for a local orthodonist's office. This space is definitely not the typical office I grew up visiting - I could live here : )





and the ladies who work here (12 in total) made me miss having co-workers. Thanks for a fun morning, for not laughing at my 'high-tech' set-up and for making my job easy. The rest of the photos will be ready soon - here's just a peek.
